Character Design
Final Fantasy XIV has several NPCs with unique outfits or face models. There are also NPCS in the game whose appearance shares the in-game character creation customizations. This makes it nice and accessible for players to recreate their favorite NPCs to run around as or role-play as! Haurchefant falls into the second group. His character can very easily be recreated in the game by players.Haurchefant's hair color is a dusty pale blue that can appear almost silver-like. In some official description his hair is described as silver. His hair is short and spiky at the ends, coming down around the back of his neck. The sides and fringe are also spiky at the ends, covering his forehead and a bit of his eyes.
He has sharp eyes with a bit of dark eye circles around them. The colors of his eyes are a darker blue with a shine to them. Haurchefant has an aquiline nose, where the bridge is more prominent and has a curve. Haurchefant's ears are pointy and he wears decorative silver cuffs on both ears.
The game has several color variations of the armor Haurchefant wears. These armor sets are commonly worn by Ishgardian knights. The specific version Haurchefant wears can be attain through the main story dungeon "The Stone Vigil" in A Realm Reborn.
The gear is covered in silver chainmail links. Underneath the chainmail top is a layer of olive green leather with mustard yellow trims. There is also a piece of the leather over the collar and neck area in the same mustard yellow color. The hip region has protective metal plates. The shoulders are protected with dark gold pauldrons. The gloves are olive green with brown trims. They are long, stopping right below the elbow, and has protective metal on them.
The chainmail around the legs are covered with olive green leather. The knees are protected with dark gold poleyn. There are straps and buckles around the neck, chest, shoulders, arms, waist, gloves and legs. Haurchefant carries a black and silver shield with the House Fortemps unicorn sigil. The sword hilt are gold wings and he keeps his sword sheath on the left side of his hip.
