Related In-game Items

Special items in the game that are related to Haurchefant in some way. These are either gifts from Haurchefant, tribute items, or tied to a Haurchefant-related quest.

Aether Compass
	Type Collection Items Obtain "Divine Intervention" main story quest Gifted with the Black Chocobo mount, this compass helps you locate aether currents. Locating all the aether currents in a new zone unlocks flying. This allows you to travel faster by flying on a mount.

A Knight to Remember
	Type Wall-mounted indoor furniture Obtain Selling NPC A commissioned portrait available for purchase through Hismena in Idyllshire or Rowena's Representative in Foundation for 100 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics.

Black Chocobo
	Type Mount Obtain "Divine Intervention" main story quest Gifted with the Aether Compass, this chocobo was personally trained by Haurchefant. He gifts this mount as a humble token of admiration towards you.

Boarskin Harness
	Type Body Gear Obtain "Springtime for Coerthas" levequest Someone from House Fortemps made an order of leather harnesses. Take this with a grain of salt, but it could be a request by Haurchefant base on the location of this levequest in Dragonhead, his expressed interest in the revealing dress of the Cascadiers, and his sexual innuendos...!

Take this with a grain of salt, but it could be a request by Haurchefant base on the location of this levequest in Dragonhead, his expressed interest in the revealing dress of the Cascadiers, and his sexual innuendos...!

	Type Body & Leg Gear Obtain Cascadier Uniform Voucher One of the supply cart en route to Revenant's Toll held a specific item that drew Haurchefant's attention. The item in question is the swimsuit uniform of the Cascadiers. The swimsuits were items you could trade for back in the 2013 Moonfire Faire event where you fought alongside Cascadier cadets. The revealing outfit is not so common around Coerthas given the snow and Haurchefant mentions it would be a shame to see it lost! If you did not obtain the gear during the 2013 event, you could use 2 Achievement Certificates to purchase a Cascadier Uniform Voucher from Jonathas in Old Gridania. Then trade the Cascadier Uniform Voucher with Aelina in Mor Dhona for the black swimsuit gear!

	Type Emote Obtain "The Burdens We Bear" sidequest This emote will animate your character to do Haurchefant's signature motion. See layout header!

Haurchefant Card
	Type Triple Triad Card Obtain "Triple Team III" achievement Challenge and defeat 41 unique NPCs to obtain the Achievement and be rewarded with his card.

House Fortemps Kite Shield
	Type Shield Gear Obtain "As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness" main story quest Can be equipped at level 1 by the Gladiator or Paladin class.

Wind-up Haurchefant
	Type Minion Obtain "As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness" main story quest A recreation of your friend to follow you around and lift your spirits!!
